The Ministry of Communication learned with great sorrow the news of the death of journalist Ruben Dumont which occurred on Friday March 17, 2023, in the United States, following an operation.

Ruben Dumont worked for the online newspaper "Vant Bèf Info" as editor-in-chief and also lent his services to the National Television of Haiti as a journalist.

He leaves the memory of a collaborator open and concerned about his work.

The Ministry extends its sympathy to his family, relatives and friends as well as to members of the Haitian press.
