Sunday, March 26, the Police foiled a kidnapping in the Sainte-Anne area, located in downtown Port-au-Prince.

In recent weeks, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) has succeeded in defeating armed bandits who were trying to carry out several cases of kidnapping, particularly in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince.

During the police interventions, several thugs were fatally injured in exchanges of fire, firearms and ammunition were seized, as well as other materials confiscated, particularly at Poste Marchand.

These results are the result of the new security plan developed by the PNH, during the last command meetings organized under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief a.i. Frantz Elbé.

The National Police, once again, continues to seek the collaboration of the population in its fight against organized crime, particularly against cases of kidnapping
