Sunday, March 27, the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DICRIM) arrested the driver of a Toyota Runner SUV registered G403341, which was illegally transporting 23 Haitians (14 men and 5 women and 4 children) in an irregular migratory situation, bound for the city of Santiago of the Caballeros.

This is Yodauris Wilton Castro Popoter, residing in the province of Dajabón, where he embarked the illegal Haitians to whom he charged 4,500 pesos per person.

The car was seized by the police and in the next few hours the driver will be brought to justice, while the Haitians will be sent to the General Directorate of Migration to be repatriated to their country.
