The police in the city of Thomonde (Central Dept.) arrested three individuals for illegal possession of weapons, armed robbery, hijacking of goods trucks and association of criminals, they are :

Edrice Exama (31 years old), from "Tyèramous Kadi", 2nd communal section of Thomonde. A repeat offender who has already spent five years in prison for armed robbery and criminal association.

Jeanty Patrick (37), from Thomonde.

Jean Marie Ederne (53), from the 2nd communal section "Mamon", locality of Savane Plate.

Following their arrest, a freight truck containing powdered juice was found at the home of Jean Marie Ederne.

A 38-caliber revolver, a so-called "Chilean" home-made weapon, was also confiscated by the police.

For the moment, these individuals are in custody pending legal action.
