Sunday, April 16, 2023, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) proceeded to the arrest of Frantz Casimir at Champ-de-Mars (Port-au-Prince) while he was aboard a Toyota RAV4 registered AA 79830, involved in several cases of kidnapping, in particular at rue St Honoré, Rue Mgr Guilloux, hospital area of the State University of Haiti and at Place Ste Anne according to information available to the Police.

Frantz Casimir alias "CP" or "Ti Dou" an important member of the "5 Seconds" gang operating in Village de Dieu, was among other things responsible for selling the goods stolen by the gang.

Frantz Casimir was placed in police custody pending being brought before the competent authorities.
