On Wednesday April 19, 2023, the private Haitian airline Sunrise Airways based in Port-au-Prince, made its first flight from Port-au-Prince, to Panama City, the most important hub in Central America, thus allowing passengers from and to Port-au-Prince to increase their connection options to international destinations and in particular to Latin America.
