iciHaiti - Politic : Michaëlle Jean champion of the prevention of sexual violence

The Embassy of Haiti in Canada represented by the Minister Counselor Nesly Numa, participated in the signing session of a partnership agreement between the University of Ottawa and Pramila Patten Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in charge of the issue of sexual violence committed in times of conflict.
This new partnership will make it possible in particular to produce, share and disseminate research on this type of violence in order to inform policies and practices.
In this circumstance, Michaëlle Jean was designated champion of the prevention of sexual violence by Pramila Patten.
