iciHaiti - PNH : Training against stigma, discrimination and gender-based violence
The National Coordination of Women's Affairs and Gender Issues (CNAF) of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) organized a ceremony to award certificates to about twenty police officers, of all ranks and grades, as well as to personnel administrators, for their participation in training on the fight against stigma, discrimination and gender-based violence.

This week-long training was carried out by the CNAF, in concert with the SEROvie Foundation and the Bureau of International Narcotics (INL), aims to better equip the police on the issue of violence based on gender, but also to encourage them to take better care of victims of discrimination and stigmatization when they file a complaint at the level of police stations and sub-police stations.

On this occasion, plaques of honor were also awarded to Inspector General Jackson Hilaire, to Divisional Commissioner Marie Jeannette Bateau Salomon Coordinator of the CNAF and to Steve Laguerre, Director of Programs of the SEROvie Foundation, for their contribution in the fight to establish a more just and egalitarian society, in terms of promoting and respecting human rights.
