Thursday August 3, 2023, Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education spoke at the launch ceremony of the 7th edition of the National Competition for texts and reports on human rights.

This initiative of the Citizen Protection Office (OPC) aims to involve young people more in the promotion of a culture of human rights.

The 7th edition of the Human Rights Writing and Reporting Competition has three categories.

Category A is for young journalists;

Category B, students;

Category C is dedicated to students.

For each category, applicants are offered two or three subjects. For example, one of the three subjects submitted to the students is formulated as "Why should we encourage and defend an inclusive school based on equal opportunities instead of a 'double speed school' ?"
