Friday October 6, 2023, the Departmental Directorate of the North-West Police carried out the ceremony of awarding certificates to 10 new police officers from the Intervention Brigade (BI) of the Port-de-Paix Police Station, at the resulting from specialized training sessions.

The ceremony took place at the premises of the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO - North) in the presence, among others, of the Departmental Director of the North-West Police, Divisional Commissioner Clevens Cétoute, police officers of all ranks and rank, judicial, political and civil authorities.

In his speech, Principal Commissioner Deus Maxonel, Head of the Police Station, reminded the new BI agents to demonstrate "discipline, mutual respect, respect for hierarchy, and respect for the laws in the exercise of their functions."

For his part, Divisional Commissioner Clevens Cétoute promised that continuing training sessions will be organized for these agents, while emphasizing their mission to secure the Municipality of Port-de-Paix.
