Sidolixe James Smith alias "Jimmy", an active member of the Vitelhomme gang, was arrested at Toussaint Louverture International Airport by agents of the Bureau for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS)

The arrest of this individual occurred as he was preparing to travel to Miami aboard the Spirit Airline flight following an engagement visa obtained in early September 2023.

He was actively sought by the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) suspected of involvement in various cases of kidnapping, assassination and looting of abandoned houses in the Torcel area (commune of Tabarre).
