Three people were killed and several others injured, on rue Jean Price Mars, in Delmas 24, on the afternoon of Saturday October 7 following the collapse of a wall serving as a fence for a water tank belonging at the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA) according to the first elements of the investigation.

"DINEPA, through its drinking water service, feels very saddened to learn of the accident at its reservoir in Delmas 24.

It presents her most sincere condolences to the families of the victims. She has already instructed the Western Directorate to launch a technical investigation in order to define responsibilities.

It once again asks the population to respect the 'protection perimeter' of its infrastructures in accordance with its “National Technical Reference Framework."
