The Haiti Air Ambulance (HAA) mission proudly celebrated the remarkable journey of Jacquelin, an emergency medical technician who became a registered nurse.

Jacquelin began his journey as a Haitian paramedic for HAA, serving his community following the January 2010 earthquake in Haiti. His commitment and thirst for medical knowledge quickly distinguished him, and he excelled at Bernard Mevs Hospital, earning a place on HAA's pioneering ambulance team

Subsequently, driven by his dreams, to fulfill his greater aspirations, he saved for 5 years to study nursing in Florida. Despite language difficulties and limited formal education, her determination allowed her to progress positively through the program.

In August 2023, Jacquelin reached a remarkable milestone : he passed the NCLEX nursing licensing exam, a challenging exam entirely in English, and officially became a registered nurse in the state of Florida.

Haiti Air Ambulance is infinitely proud of Jacquelin's remarkable journey and the unwavering spirit he brings to the Haitian community. Her story reminds us that together we can overcome any obstacle and leave a lasting mark on the world.
