iciHaiti - Port-de-Paix : A gang leader mortally wounded

Sunday October 22, 2023, during a police operation carried out in the afternoon in the area of "Blòk Mòn Van", a locality located at the entrance to the Commune of Anse-à-Foleur (North-West dept.), gang leader Charles Leonelson, ally of a gang operating in Ti Bois d'homme (Gros-Morne), and one of his men, were fatally injured in exchanges of fire with the police of Port-de-Paix.
Charles Leonelson was involved in the assassination of Claudy, Ti Blanc, a merchant, and his brother on the road giving access to the commune of Petit Bourg de Borne and even to Saint-Louis du Nord.
