iciHaiti - Education : Fight against violence in schools

The Ministry of National Education and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) launched this week in Pétion-ville, a five-day revision and validation workshop which ended Friday February 23, 2024, around the Code of Conduct, which helps combat violence in schools.

Other institutions such as the Institute of Social Welfare and Research (IBESR), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Children's Hearts for Change Organization Deprived of Haiti (OCCEDH) were also represented.

Through this workshop, these institutions wanted to achieve three results including:

- Finalization of the code of conduct;
- Implementation of a communication plan
- Raise awareness among all stakeholders in the educational community about the different forms of violence in schools.
