iciHaiti - Politic : Considerable progress during the month of April 22/04/2024 10:17:28
The Departmental Coordinations of Artibonite, Nippes and South are now elevated to the rank of Departmental Directorates. Indeed, the Decree on the organization and operation of the MCFDF of 2005 had already placed these deconcentrated entities of the Ministry at the rank of Directorate. But successive administrations at the ministry were unable to achieve this end, which constituted a major operational handicap as they were unable to deal as equals with their counterparts on the ground. In addition, the managers placed at the head of these entities received an Assistant Head of Department salary. Since the arrival of Minister Dr Sofia LOREUS, an increased advocacy has been made to correct this anomaly. From now on, three departments are, according to the criteria of the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) on the appointment of executives in the public service, at the rank of Departmental Directorate.
