Monday April 29, 2024, investigators from the Office for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS) on detachment in the North carried out a search operation jointly with agents of the Customs Surveillance Brigade in Cap-Haitien, at the level of Cap Terminal S.A (CTSA) of Quartier-Morin (Cap-2).

Inside a container 2 9mm caliber pistols, 13 9mm caliber cartridges, and 2 magazines were discovered in a blue drum.

This container, registered KOSU 461487-6 and seal numbers : KOSL 298594/231331, coming from the United States, was transported by the agency "Alliance Int'l Shipping llc, 6916 nw 72nd avenue Miami FL 33166"

It was intended for Wilking Étienne, born in 1984 in Cap-Haïtien

Following this discovery, the named Jacques Joseph, representative of the recipient, was arrested by BLTS investigators for his alleged involvement in the international trafficking of firearms and ammunition.
