On Thursday, August 22, 2024, the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) organized at the Villa d’Accueil, a ceremony in honor of the Ambassador of Taiwan (Republic of China) to Haiti, Wen Jiann KU, marking the end of his diplomatic mission to the country.

During this ceremony, Ambassador KU expressed his deep gratitude to the Haitian State for the close cooperation maintained during his mandate. He highlighted the strong ties of friendship between Haiti and Taiwan, reaffirming his country’s commitment to maintaining and strengthening this collaboration, despite the persistent security challenges.

The diplomat assured that Taiwanese cooperation will continue under the leadership of his successor, with the aim of optimizing joint efforts with Haitian actors in this difficult context.
