Dr. Georges Fils Brignol, the Minister of Public Health, met this week with the French Ambassador accredited to Haiti, Antoine Michon.

The two men discussed several topics of crucial importance for the health and well-being of the Haitian population.

The "Ti mama" project, currently underway, was at the center of the discussions. The need to conduct an inventory to determine the best strategies to restart the rehabilitation activities of the State University of Haiti hospital damaged following recent acts of vandalism was also discussed. To this end, an assessment team is already on site, ready to analyze the damage and propose appropriate solutions for the restoration work.

Following this meeting, the Minister and the Ambassador agreed to stay in touch to monitor the progress of ongoing projects and explore new opportunities for collaboration in the field of public health.
