iciHaiti - Training in Tourist Guiding : Practices, evaluations and reinforcement
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the Organization for the Management of the North Destination of Haiti, the second part of the training of tourist guides was recently held. It follows a first part that was essentially theoretical and which had allowed to lay the solid foundations in terms of tourist guiding.

On the other hand, this second part was much more practical. Indeed, according to the two speakers of this training, Eddy Lubin and Orlando Henry, this 2nd level aimed to deepen the knowledge acquired while focusing on the evaluation and analysis of the current practice of the guides in function.

During this part, the participants had the opportunity to correct and improve their approach, by refining the content they deliver to visitors.

This reinforcement will not only allow the already experienced guides to optimize their service, but also to support the new generation of professionals in the acquisition of practical skills, in accordance with the quality standards expected in the sector.

Through this approach, the Ministry of Tourism and the North Haiti Destination Management Organization ensure that each guide, old or new, is able to offer an enriching and coherent tourist experience, up to the expectations of visitors.
