iciHaiti - Security : The Minister of Defense discusses with Taiwan the modernization of the FAd’H

A fruitful meeting was held this week between Jean-Michel Moïse, the Minister of Defense and the Ambassador of Taiwan (Republic of China) to Haiti, Guillaume Cheng-hao HU.
This meeting, an important step in strengthening bilateral relations, highlighted Taiwan’s crucial role in supporting the defense sector and explored new opportunities to modernize the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd’H), strengthen national security.
In an atmosphere of constructive dialogue, the two parties reaffirmed their desire to consolidate their strategic partnership. They agreed to continue their joint efforts to strengthen Haiti’s defense capabilities in the face of urgent and institutional challenges.
