On Sunday, January 12, 2025, an operation conducted by Units of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), supervised by Rameau Normil, Acting Commander-in-Chief of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), led to the arrest of the former deputy of Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite, Prophane Victor in Vivy Mitchell, commune of Pétion-ville.

It should be recalled that the former deputy Prophane Victor was denounced, on several occasions, by the former gang leader called "Odma", accusing him of collusion with members of gang outbreaks operating in the Artibonite department, particularly in the locality of Savien.

In addition, Prophane Victor was sanctioned in September 2024 by the United States https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-43284-haiti-us-sanctions-a-former-deputy-and-a-gang-leader-on-the-list.html for his role in training, supporting and arming gangs causing serious human rights violations in Haiti.

Dispatched to the scene to supervise this operation, Rameau Normil intends to continue tracking down any individual involved in any way in criminal actions orchestrated by armed gangs in Haiti.
