The Ministry of Public Works (MTPTC) has undertaken work in both the South and North departments.

South Department :

The Ministry, through its South Departmental Directorate, has undertaken rehabilitation and widening work on an 8-kilometer section connecting Solon to Baie Dumesle, on the road leading to the port of Saint-Louis du Sud.

North Department :

In addition, the Ministry announces the start of rehabilitation work on Morne Grand Gilles, a strategic axis located on National Road #3 in the North Department.

This project aims to strengthen user safety and boost economic activities in the region. This rehabilitation promises to optimize trade and promote interconnection between departments.

Considered an essential link in the road network, the Morne Grand Gilles section requires upgrading to ensure optimal traffic conditions, reduce the risk of accidents and alleviate the inconvenience caused by the deterioration of infrastructure.
