A large military convoy of the Dominican Army has arrived in the border province of Dajabón to reinforce the border and face any eventuality that may arise.

Colonel Guillermo Jiménez Arciniega, Commander of the 4th Brigade of the Army, stated "This is a reinforcement that is being deployed in this area, responsibility of the 4th Brigade and everything is under control in this area. Commander Jiménez Arciniega stressed that the reinforcements include 1,200 soldiers who will be stationed in the Tenth Infantry Battalion in Dajabón.
