iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : 54 new members for the Civil Protection Intervention Brigade
The Municipal Commission of Cap-Haitien, in partnership with the Departmental Directorate of Civil Protection of the North and "Miyamoto International", proceeded last week, in the gardens of the municipality, to the official confirmation of 50 new members of the Civil Protection Intervention Brigade.

Patrick Almonor, the Deputy Mayor praised for his commitment to the realization of this project, underlined the importance of this brigade in the protection and support of the population in the face of the growing challenges of urban vulnerability.

Thanks to the support of the Resilient Community project, 54 brigadiers and brigadières benefited from specialized training, preparing them to intervene effectively in the event of a crisis.

For his part, Jean Henri Petit, the Departmental Director of Civil Protection of the North, urged the new brigadiers to persevere in their commitment, while insisting on the need for official recognition of volunteering in Haiti.

These new members mark a significant step forward for civil protection in Cap-Haitien. It demonstrates the collective commitment to a more resilient, secure and better prepared city for emergencies, thus strengthening the community’s capacity to face future challenges.
