Transcultura, a UNESCO programme funded by the European Union, invites young Caribbean photographers aged 18 to 35, who are citizens and permanent residents of one of the 17 Caribbean countries within the geographical scope of the Transcultura programme (Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Cuba, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Dominican Republic, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago) to submit their best photographs on the theme of the natural environment, in order to highlight the natural richness and diversity of the Caribbean region and its landscapes (terrestrial or underwater).

Theme of the competition : #Shooting_green

This call for candidacies therefore invites you to submit a collection of 10 photographs (minimum 5 and maximum 10) that represent the diversity and natural wealth of the Caribbean region, its environmental and climatic challenges, as well as the relationships between the different elements of the Caribbean biosphere. The submitted works must capture, in an ingenious and original way, elements of flora and fauna (terrestrial or marine) that are representative of one or more of the countries mentioned below, or landscapes that show suggestive relationships between these elements.
