Friday, March 7, 2025, the day before the celebration of International Women's Day, the Embassy of Haiti in France, represented by Ms. Marie Elena Rivet Dorival and Ms. Marie Mahallia Medjany Chéry, participated in the conference "France, Latin America and the Caribbean : Human Trafficking, from the fight against networks to supporting victims", at the Palais du Luxembourg (6th arrondissement of Paris).

Organized in particular by the Network of Women Diplomats of Latin America in France and by Ms. Elénore Caroit, Member of Parliament for the 2nd constituency of French nationals living outside France, this event brought together members of the French Government, women diplomats, members of the Senate's Women's Rights Delegation, executives from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and lawyers from the Paris Bar.

On the occasion of the commemoration of the international day dedicated to women's rights (March 8), the Embassy of Haiti in France pays tribute to Haitian women and salutes their courage as well as their commitment to the efforts of recovery and national development.
