iciHaiti - Bas-Artibonite : Launch of the interschool football championship

The Bas-Artibonite regional office of the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Civic Action (MJSAC) officially launched the 2025 edition of the region's inter-school football championship, dubbed the "Reconciliation Championship" on March 12th, in the presence of several dozen schools.

Flags in hand, delegations from participating schools marched through the streets of the Nissage Saget housing project, marking with fervor and sportsmanship the opening of this major competition, which brings together 36 schools and is reserved exclusively for students under 17 and under 23.

Niola Lynn Sarah Dévalis Octavius, Minister of Youth and Sports, praised the commitment and dedication of the technicians from the Bas-Artibonite regional office, who work determinedly to support and develop young people through the promotion of sports.

The 2025 School Sports Games are continuing across all of the Ministry's departmental directorates and regional offices. This is thanks to the dynamism of technical staff and departmental directors, and under the leadership of Minister Octavius.
