On Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Villa d'Accueil, the Transitional Presidential Advisors (CPT), Louis Gérald Gilles, Leslie Voltaire, Edgard Leblanc Fils, and Smith Augustin, met with officials from the internally displaced persons camps located in the greater Port-au-Prince area. This meeting was attended by Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, Pedrica Saint-Jean, Minister of Women's Affairs, Serge Gabriel Colin, Director of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), Sterline Civil, Director General of the National Education Fund (FNE), and a representative from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.

During the meeting, the presidential advisors listened attentively to the grievances of the camp officials, who explained the difficult living conditions of the displaced persons. At the end of the meeting, the parties committed to urgent work to :

• Provide displaced persons with the most suitable shelters during the hurricane season;
• Continue the distribution of food and hygiene kits;
• Create more community restaurants;
• Implement schooling programs for children and youth in the centers.

These measures will remain temporary, with the CPT committing to ending insecurity as soon as possible [?], so that every citizen can return home and live without fear...

The Director of the FAES announced that his institution will continue to set up community restaurants and food kits for displaced persons.

A committee will be quickly created to monitor and implement all the decisions taken during this meeting.
