iciHaiti - Trade : DR exported 1,395 different products to Haiti in 5 months

According to data from the Export and Investment Center (ProDominicana), 697 Dominican exporters exported 1,395 product categories to Haiti for a value of US$453.8 million in the first five months of 2025 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-45109-haiti-flash-dominican-exports-to-haiti-increase-by-295-in-5-months.html

The main exported products are: T-shirts and jerseys (US$40.2 million), cotton fabrics (US$36.1 million), Portland cement (US$30.2 million), notched, crimped, and embossed iron or non-alloy steel bars (US$26.1 million), soybean oil (US$23.7 million), wheat or meslin flour (US$18.3 million), and rolled non-alloy iron bars (US$18.3 million). (13.1 million), ketchup (10.1 million), bakery products (9.9 million), and pasta (9.3 million).

Other products exported to Haiti during the first months of this year include: soft drinks, demijohns (bottles, jars, or similar articles), sweet biscuits, polymer sheets and strips, and rags (made from all types of textile materials).

The United States remains the main trading destination, accounting for 52.5% of exports, followed by India, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Canada, the Netherlands, China, Belgium, Germany, and Jamaica.
