iciHaïti - NOTICE : Reinforced authorization for DJs in Delmas

As part of the fight against noise pollution in the municipality, the Delmas Town Hall, through its Department of Social and Cultural Affairs, organized an important meeting on Monday, June 23, 2025, with several Disc Jockeys (DJs) operating in the municipality.

This meeting follows recent decisions made by Mayor Wilson Jeudy to regulate sound activities and ensure better coexistence between cultural events and public peace.

From now on, any DJ wishing to operate in the municipality must submit a complete application including the following documents :

• License;
• Tax Registration Number;
• A copy of the national identity card;
• A letter requesting authorization addressed to the Department of Social and Cultural Affairs;
• Proof of address issued by the Delmas Town Hall.

This initiative aims to formalize the sector, empower cultural stakeholders, and establish an operating framework that is more respectful of administrative standards and the living environment of citizens.
