The Brazil Visa Application Center (CAVB), operated by the World Organization for Migration (IOM Haiti), reports that visa distribution is progressing well for those who applied to IOM for 2024.

IOM will contact all those who missed a 2024 humanitarian visa appointment. The Embassy of Brazil is working to finalize all pending applications.

Please note that no new appointments will be available. Only applicants who have booked appointments in accordance with Ordinance 38 in the system will be able to schedule them.

IOM has not yet received authorization for new humanitarian appointments; we ask for your patience.

We remind you that services are provided in accordance with the rules and principles established by the Embassy and the Brazilian authorities.

We also remind you that Brazil does not authorize anyone to travel without a visa. Only the Brazilian Embassy can issue you travel documents, which are equivalent to a visa.
