In a social context marked by instability and a lack of opportunities for young people, a wind of hope is blowing through Haiti with the launch, at the Ayiti Cheri Gymnasium, of "Volley Jeunes", a national development program dedicated to the country's young volleyball players.

Thanks to the support of the North, Central America, and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA), the "Volley Jeunes" project, whose main objective is to train the next generation of volleyball players, is becoming a reality.

More than a thousand young people, girls and boys aged 8 to 19, from nine cities across Haiti, are convinced that volleyball can change their daily lives. For five weeks, together they will build the foundations for a promising future.

Commenting on the launch of this ambitious program, Jean Michel Frédéric François, President of the FHVB, declared that "Volley Jeunes" is much more than a sports project : it is a declaration of confidence in Haitian youth. The dramatic situation the country is experiencing is demoralizing, yet the determination evident on the faces of these young people, their faith in a better future, gives us the courage to persevere and hope.

Beyond the sports project, "Youth Volleyball" is a way of telling every young person: "Your life has value, your talent counts, your future is possible."
