On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in Miami, Florida, the leaders of the Confederation of North, Central American, and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) held the draw for the Concacaf Women's 2026 qualifying phase, marking the launch of the 2025-2029 cycle of senior women's competitions.

As the top seed in Group D, our Grenadières now know their opponents. They will face the Dominican Republic, Suriname, Belize, and Anguilla.

During the FIFA windows of November 2025, February, and April 2026, Haiti will play two home matches and two away matches. The objective is clear : to finish first in the group in order to advance to the final phase, scheduled for November 2026, which will feature eight teams, including the United States and Canada, who have already qualified.

Concacaf Women's 2026 will play a doubly crucial role, serving as a qualifying tournament for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup (in Brazil) and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. This championship is also the first of three major centralized tournaments included in the Confederation's new women's calendar, unveiled in September 2024.

The detailed match schedule will be announced at a later date by Concacaf.

Let's remember that the 2026 Concacaf Women's Championship will be played in November 2026 with the participation of eight countries, the United States and Canada, who will be joined by the six group winners from the qualifying phase.

This competition will serve to :

• Qualify four teams directly for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup (in Brazil)

• Qualify two teams for the intercontinental playoffs;

• Qualify two teams (possibly three) for the Women's Olympic Tournament at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
