The Executive Body of the National Telecommunications Council (CONATEL) welcomes the publication of the Decree on Electronic Signatures, adapting the Law of Evidence to information technologies and expanding CONATEL's powers.

This decree, by allowing public institutions, businesses, and citizens to access simpler, faster, and more secure procedures for remotely establishing proof of their authorization, represents a major step forward for Haiti's economic and social life.
