Laurent Saint-Cyr, the President pro tempore of the Transitional Council, and Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé held a working meeting with the heads of several state institutions to prepare for the start of the school year, including the Ministries of Education, Social Affairs, Public Works, Youth and Sports, as well as the National Education Fund (FNE), the National School Meal Program (PNCS), and the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES).

At the end of this meeting, several important decisions were adopted, including support for displaced families to free up school facilities, the rehabilitation of certain damaged school infrastructure, and the effective provision of school canteens for the new academic year.

While continuing efforts to restore security in the country, the Presidential Transitional Council and the Government are working to ensure a successful Back to School. They reaffirm their determination to support the most vulnerable and to ensure every Haitian child's fundamental right to education, an essential condition for building a better future.
