With its partners : the Ministry of the Environment, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO - Haiti), and the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the GEF6 Productive Landscape project is implementing concrete actions in 15 municipalities in the North, Northeast, and Artibonite departments:

- Establishment of farmer field schools to strengthen technical and practical knowledge;

- Production of nurseries to ensure a supply of young plants;

- Distribution of banana suckers and seedlings to improve food security and diversify incomes.

These efforts are not theoretical: they are already changing the daily lives of hundreds of beneficiary women and men. Each plant distributed, each field school opened, contributes to building more productive landscapes, more stable incomes, and better protection of ecosystems.

Haiti's rural future depends on collective action, sustainability, and agricultural innovation.
