According to rumors, Colombian coach Juan Carlos Osorio, 64, former Mexico coach at the 2018 World Cup, seven months after his dismissal by the Xolos de Tijuana on March 11, 2025, due to the club's poor results, finishing last in the standings after 11 matches, is the favorite to take over the Grenadiers and qualify for Haiti thanks to his experience leading Mexico to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
His agent has reportedly already approved the idea of signing with Haiti, and all that's missing now is the final approval of the FHF to formalize the agreement.
If this appointment were to materialize, it would be a boon for Haitian football, which would be banking on a coach with international experience to relaunch its global ambitions.
In recent hours, some Haitian media outlets have reported that Osorio is in negotiations with the FHF to immediately succeed Sébastien Migné. However, note that the Haitian Football Federation has not yet commented on these rumors.
