iciHaiti - Tabarre Bridge : Deadly counter-attack by the Haitian National Police

Following intelligence reports of an imminent threat from the "400 Mawzo" and "Chen Mechan" gangs, the Haitian National Police (PNH), through its West 2 Departmental Directorate (DDO-2), conducted an offensive operation on November 7 and 8, 2025, to regain control of the Tabarre Bridge, a strategic point leading to Carrefour Marassa.
During these violent clashes, several bandits were neutralized, others wounded, and a vehicle was recovered. The police intervention, which resulted in several deaths among the criminals, secured this crucial road. The PNH is now maintaining its position to protect road users and affirms that the situation is under control. Traffic has resumed on the Tabarre Bridge.
