On Friday, November 14, 2025, Chancellor Jean-Victor Harvel Jean-Baptiste received Ms. Nicole Flora Boni Kouassi, Deputy Representative of the United Nations system in Haiti, in charge of operational activities for the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH).

They discussed the implementation of Resolution 2793 (Sept. 2025), which established the Gang Repression Force (FRG) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-45891-haiti-flash-the-security-council-has-voted-for-the-new-gang-repression-force.html, as well as measures to be adopted to strengthen the operational capacities of the national security forces while awaiting the deployment of GSF reinforcements. The Minister of Foreign Affairs took the opportunity to review cooperation activities between the Haitian government and the United Nations system, particularly the humanitarian aid provided to populations displaced by gang violence.

Minister Jean-Baptiste reiterated the Haitian government's commitment to continuing dialogue with all international partners interested in supporting its efforts to address the problem of insecurity.
