iciHaiti - PNH : Commander Paraison visits the CBIM base
On Saturday, November 15, 2025, in a spirit of community engagement and motivation, Vladimir Paraisonl, the Acting Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian National Police (PNH), visited the base of the Motorized Intervention Brigade Corps (CBIM). He was accompanied by Inspector General Jacques Joël Orival, Central Director of Administrative Police.

Originally conceived as a motorized brigade for operations in rugged terrain and confined spaces, the CBIM has adapted considerably to urban warfare. It now holds terrorists at bay during large-scale operations, particularly in the Tabarre area, the home region of the current commander of DDO-2.

During his visit, Commander Paraisonl spoke with the officers about their working conditions, challenges, and their role in securing roads and high-risk areas.

He praised the professionalism, discipline, and sense of duty of the CBIM officers, while emphasizing the strategic importance of their mission within the overall structure of the Haitian National Police (PNH).
