iciHaïti - PNH : Acting Commander Paraison continues his tour of special units
On Saturday, November 15, 2025, as part of an ongoing effort to maintain close contact with troops deployed on the most sensitive fronts in the fight against armed crime, Vladimir Paraison, the Acting Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian National Police (PNH), following his visit to the base of the Motorized Intervention Brigade Corps (CBIM) https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-46223-icihaiti-pnh-commander-paraison-visits-the-cbim-base.html, visited the base of the Intervention and Public Order Maintenance Corps (CIMO), an elite unit specializing in maintaining order during large gatherings, demonstrations, and high-risk operations.

Paraison took the time to speak with the officers about their working conditions, while commending the unit for its essential contribution to stability. "I came to express my deep respect for you," he said. "You are at the heart of the action, and your work deserves respect and recognition."

On Sunday the 16th, Paraison continued his tour of the Haitian National Police’s (PNH) specialized units and visited the Anti-Gang Tactical Unit (UTAG), located on Route de Frères in the commune of Pétion-ville.

Acting Commander-in-Chief Paraison commended the bravery and dedication of the UTAG officers, taking the time to speak directly with them about the realities on the ground and reiterating the Police’s total commitment to protecting the population, restoring peace, and rebuilding trust in public security institutions.
