iciHaiti - NOTICE : Liberation of Place d'Armes and Place Capois La mort
On Monday, November 17, 2025, the Port-de-Paix City Hall informed the public, in statement #29, that as part of efforts to restore order, security, and the proper functioning of public spaces, the City Hall is adopting a series of measures concerning vendors who occupy Place d’Armes and Place Capois Lamort in a disorderly manner.

"All vendors selling in these areas must vacate the spaces within two days of the date of publication. After this period, law enforcement has been instructed to seize any equipment or merchandise that continues to occupy public spaces despite the prohibition."

These measures aim to :
• Protect and enhance public spaces that had become unruly markets.
• Ensure a clean, orderly, and dignified environment for all.
• Contribute to preserving the image of the city of Port-de-Paix.

The Municipal Administration requests that merchants and all citizens :
• Respect the announced measures.
• Cooperate with the authorities to restore order and beauty to the city.
• Contribute to the cleanliness and proper organization of the spaces that are meant to serve everyone.

The Port-de-Paix City Hall remains committed to continuing its tireless work to improve living conditions in the municipality.
