The commemoration of the 222nd anniversary of the Battle of Vertières, celebrated on November 18, 2025, took place under optimal conditions of security and peace.

Thanks to the measures taken by the Haitian National Police (PNH), the ceremony concluded without any significant incidents or disruptions, allowing the population to honor this pillar of Haitian independence in a tranquil atmosphere.

This outcome is a direct result of the professionalism and dedication of the PNH officers. The High Command wishes to express its profound gratitude to every woman and man deployed in the field, whose vigilance and commitment were crucial to the complete success of this patriotic event.
