In Fort-Liberté, the European Union, the Government of Haiti, the National Authorizing Officer's Office, and Team Europe partners launched two major new structural programs in the Northeast :

1 - Integrated Territorial Development of Northeast Haiti (€23 million)

This program aims to strengthen local governance, modernize the cities of Fort-Liberté and Ouanaminthe, support resilient agriculture, and improve climate risk management.

2 - Education for a Shared Future (€36 million)

This program aims to strengthen educational governance (UNESCO), improve the quality of basic education, and support local training institutions (Expertise France).

These two programs reflect a shared vision of sustainable development, the European Union's commitment to supporting key sectors, and Team Europe's determination to work alongside Haitian institutions for a more stable and prosperous future.
