On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the Embassy of Haiti in Canada participated in the annual international food fair organized by Global Affairs Canada in Ottawa.

The Haitian Mission was represented by Counsellors Paola Arthur and Jasmine Perard, as well as Mr. Evens Morose, consultant.

Our signature dishes, "diri djondjonn" (a Haitian dish), national rice, griot (a Haitian stew), and "pikliz" (a Haitian spicy tomato-based dish), were a great success with visitors, who warmly praised the richness and authenticity of Haitian flavors.

The Embassy notes that the Mission has participated in this event for several years, "a true showcase for Haitian culinary culture and a source of great pride for our community."
