On Saturday, November 29, Louino Volcy, the Haitian Ambassador to Paris, accompanied by members of the Embassy staff, participated in the first day of the 12th Haitian Book Fair ( https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-46195-icihaiti-diaspora-france-haitian-book-fair-and-haiti-futur-vibe-evening.html ), organized by the Haiti Futur association at the 15th arrondissement town hall, located at 31 rue Péclet, 75015 Paris.

During his visit, the Ambassador met with and encouraged the Haitian authors present, reaffirming the Embassy's commitment to promoting and supporting Haitian literary creation.

He also spoke with Ms. Josette Bruffaerts, the President of the Association, praising Haiti Futur's ongoing work to promote Haitian culture https://www.salondulivrehaitien.com/

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Haitian community in France, as well as to the French public, who turned out in large numbers for this first day.

He encouraged them to continue supporting Haitian authors by participating in the second and final day of the Book Fair, this Sunday, November 30 (Haitian food available Sunday at noon and a children's workshop in the afternoon).
