iciHaiti - Central Department : Large-scale food kit distribution operation 30/11/2025 10:03:56
In close collaboration with the National Migration Office, the General Directorate of Civil Protection, and the Ministry of Social Affairs, a joint delegation oversaw the unloading of two trucks containing a total of 5,000 food kits. This initiative, which aligns with the Government's commitment to strengthening the social response in vulnerable areas, aims to support families most affected by the economic and humanitarian crisis. The distribution was carried out in an organized and transparent manner. The 5,000 kits were distributed as follows : 1,000 to Cerca-la-Source, 1,000 to Thomassique, 1,000 to Cerca-Carvajal, 1,500 to Hinche, and 500 kits to the commune of Thomonde, specifically to the Savanette Cabral area.
