iciHaiti - Geneva : Haiti's participation in the UN Bazaar 2025

On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the Permanent Mission of Haiti to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva participated in the UN Bazaar 2025, a charity event bringing together permanent missions around the theme "All United for Children" to support initiatives for youth and vulnerable communities.

The UN Bazaar, or Charity Bazaar, is an annual event where delegations showcase the rich cultural heritage of their countries through culinary, craft, and artistic booths. This event aims to raise funds for humanitarian, social, and educational projects worldwide, particularly for women and children.

In this spirit of solidarity, the Haitian Mission chose to highlight the sweetness and authenticity of Haitian cuisine, with a booth dedicated exclusively to traditional desserts and beverages. An opportunity to discover or rediscover the sweet side of Haiti, through flavors that tell our story, awaken memories, and bring back, for a fleeting moment, the warmth of our homeland.

"The Mission proudly represented Haiti alongside numerous international missions and partners. A huge thank you to everyone who came to see us, who encouraged our participation, and who helped Haiti shine at the heart of this humanitarian initiative."
