The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training is continuing its distribution of school kits to schools across the country. For the second time since the start of the 2025-2026 school year, a team from the Ministry returned to the National School of the Republic of Guatemala (Pétion-ville), which has 1,405 primary school students (887 girls and 518 boys) and 80 preschool students.

The kit distributed to the preschool children contains a school bag, textbooks, notebooks, pencils, and other educational materials. According to Dedy Milien Joseph, Director of the Office of Preschool Education Management, this activity is part of the Ministry's mission to support parents in need and assist the most vulnerable children. "We prepared these kits carefully. They contain materials that meet the needs of young children attending preschool."

Micheline Augustin Pierre, the Director of the National School of the Republic of Guatemala, indicated that thanks to this distribution, dozens of children have access to essential school supplies, ensuring their educational development.

In addition to preschool children, the Ministry team distributed kits to students in the third cycle of fundamental education at the National School of the Republic of Guatemala.
